This page outlines the terms and conditions that apply to all our promotional offers, including but not limited to giveaways, contests, and special offers and promotions mentioned on our website, Facebook page, Instagram, or any other promotional channels.

Unless otherwise stated explicitly in the specific terms and conditions of a particular promotion, the general terms and conditions of Shift Driving School (available on our main terms and conditions page here) shall apply. These general terms include information on eligibility, entry requirements, prize details, winner selection, and any other relevant guidelines.

We recommend reviewing both the specific terms and conditions provided for each individual promotion, as well as our general terms and conditions, to ensure a clear understanding of your rights and obligations when participating in our promotions. By participating in any promotional offer, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by both the specific terms and conditions of the promotion and the general terms and conditions of Shift Driving School.

Please note that Shift Driving School reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promotion at any time and without prior notice. We also reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates the stated terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate conduct.

Facebook Promotion – 10 hours Block Booking Giveaway – Newcastle/Gateshead 10th July 2023

1. The giveaway is organized by Shift Driving School and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or associated with Facebook.
2. Participants must be 17 years or older at the time of entry.
3. The giveaway is open to residents of Newcastle and Gateshead only.
4. To enter, participants must like the Shift Driving School Facebook page and comment on the original post with their favourite song for a road trip. The Facebook page is located at the following URL: https://www.facebook.com/shiftdrivingschoolofficial/
5. Only one entry per person will be considered. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
6. The giveaway entry period begins on 10th July 2023 and ends on 31st August 2023 at 23:59. Entries received after the end date will not be eligible.
7. The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
8. The winner will be announced publicly on 2nd September 2023 through a post on the Shift Driving School Facebook page.
9. The winner will also be contacted privately via direct message on Facebook or through the contact information provided during the entry process. If the winner does not respond within 30 days, an alternate winner will be chosen.
10. The prize is a package of 10 hours of driving lessons with Shift Driving School.
11. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
12. The prize is transferrable once only to an eligible recipient of the winners choice, subject to the following conditions. The recipient must meet all eligibility criteria stated in these terms and conditions, and the transfer must be communicated in writing to Shift Driving School. If it is determined that the driving lessons have been sold or otherwise transferred in violation of this clause, the original winner will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of Shift Driving School.
13. The driving lessons must be scheduled and completed within 3 months. Availability of driving lesson slots is subject to instructor availability.
14. Any additional costs or expenses incurred, including but not limited to further lessons required, licensing fees or examination fees will be the responsibility of the winner.
15. Shift Driving School reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify the giveaway or its terms at any time without prior notice, for any reason.
16. By participating in the giveaway, participants grant Shift Driving School the right to use their names, likeness, and any submitted content for promotional purposes related to the giveaway.
17. Shift Driving School reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in any fraudulent or inappropriate conduct.
18. By entering the giveaway, participants agree to release and hold harmless Meta and Shift Driving School along with their respective employees, officers, directors, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with the giveaway or the prize.
19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Instagram Promotion – 10 hours Block Booking Giveaway – Newcastle/Gateshead/Middlesbrough/Redcar 4th December 2023

1. The giveaway is organized by Shift Driving School and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or associated with Instagram.
2. Participants must be 17 years or older at the time of entry.
3. The giveaway is open to residents of Newcastle, Gateshead, Middlesbrough and Redcar only.
4. To enter, participants must follow the Shift Driving School Instagram page, comment on the original post with their favourite Xmas Cracker Joke and tag 3 friends. The Instagram page is located at the following URL: https://www.instagram.com/shiftdrivingschoolofficial/
