Pass Plus

You’ve made it! You’ve successfully passed your driving test and you’re eager to embark upon your driving adventures.

However, there’s a slight catch. During your learning phase, you probably stuck to driving on familiar routes around your local test center. Now that you have your own car, it’s time to step out of that comfort zone. This is where Pass Plus comes in. For more than two decades, the Pass Plus advanced driving course has been available to drivers, offering them the opportunity to enhance their skills beyond their initial driving training. It helps drivers gain experience in handling a wide range of challenging situations on the road.

Pass Plus is an advanced driving course designed to enhance the skills of drivers who have already passed their driving test. It aims to prepare them for real-life road conditions by filling any knowledge gaps and providing additional skills beyond the basic requirements of passing the test. Although the course can be taken at any time, it primarily targets newly qualified drivers.

Newly qualified drivers are much more vulnerable than they realise. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident within their first two years of driving than at any other time in their driving career.

  • Two young people under 25 die every day in crashes in Great Britain
  • In their first year of driving, one driver in five is involved in a crash
